Polaris RZR RS1
It’s not really any surprise that Polaris is releasing another new and jaw dropping vehicle this year. But this year’s release may be their best to date. Just a few days ago Polaris unveiled their new creation, the Center-Cockpit RZR RS1. At first glance it looks like a hybrid of the traditional RZR and the ACE, but after a closer look you’ll realize it’s so much more. This RS1 is powered by the ProStar 1000 H.O. DOHC engine, which cranks out an impressive 110 HP.
It's clear that the RS1 has the power to take on any hill that stands in its way.
All that power needs a reliable braking system though, and that’s just what Polaris did. They put in a rally-inspired braking system, which allows the driver to drive with one or two feet. The RS1 is 64 inches wide, this provides great stability for taking corners at high speeds. The front and rear suspension is also incredible, 16 and 18 inches respectively, and is paired with Walker Evans adjustable shocks. The short wheelbase, 83 inches, allows for exceptional maneuverability.
Here is good picture showing the impressive suspension travel.
This photo shows just how short and compact the RS1's wheelbase is.
The center-cockpit design offers great visibility which allows the driver to see both front tires and the upcoming terrain much more efficiently. This machine was built for performance, no matter the conditions or terrain. The best part about the RS1, MSRP starts at just $13,999.
We definitely believe that Polaris has opened up a new door in the UTV/SXS world with the RS1.
