MASSFX Takes on the Rockies.

Tucked away deep within the Rocky Mountains in southern Colorado are trails so rough and so mean that even experienced riders think twice before taking them. These trails have claimed the lives of more tires than a road paved with nails. So we decided that these trails would be the best place to put our tires to the test. We sent our tires out with a veteran trail rider who we knew would not baby our tires. When he finds two paths in the woods, he doesn’t take the one less traveled, he makes his own. He put these tires up against any obstacle he could find. Mud pits? Made it like a hot knife through butter. River crossings? It was like watching George Washington cross the Delaware. Snow? Looked like the tires turned into snowmobile tracks. Rocks and boulders? These tires drove across those like a lawnmower drives across grass. Did he have any flat tires? More like flat rocks. We were more than pleased with the outcome of testing. Our tires were definitely put to the test and our rider did a great job getting every ounce of performance out of the tires he could. Another aspect of these tires that was test was their comfort. If you spend a day on those trails with bad tires, bad suspension or a combination of the two, you more than likely won’t want to ride the next day. But with our tires being as smooth riding as they are, our rider was able to get back out day after day and keep riding. Not only are these tires durable, they have a soft and comfortable ride. We were even able to get a few pictures for you!

After crawling up these rocks, it was time for lunch.

These tires feel at home in the mountains about as much as mountain goat does.

Some sections of the trail didn't have path through the snow, but he still made it.

Got altitude?

He even put these tires to work when they weren't on the trails.
