Can-Am has added yet another of vehicles to its side-by-side family, the Can-Am Maverick Sport. The new Maverick shares some similarities with the Maverick X3 and Maverick Trail all while remaining a completely different vehicle. It's the ultimate side-by-side for off-road environments and can handle even the roughest terrains. 

Can-Am has placed a 976cc Rotax V-Twin engine that delivers pure power and makes you feel connected to the vehicle at the same time. There are two engine options to choose from, the 75hp Rotax 1000 or the whopping 100hp Rotax 1000R. Both come stock with an oversized radiator, large air intakes and a Donaldson airbox. What separates the 1000R from the 1000 is the exhaust line and muffler, additional CVT intake, CVT driven pulley and larger airbox that were taken from the Maverick X3. One feature the Maverick Sport borrows from the Maverick Trail is the QRS CVT transmission. The QRS (Quick Response System) has P/R/N/H/L gear ratios for the ultimate trail performance. Of course Can-Am couldn't go without some sort of power steering package. The Maverick Sport DPS models come with Dynamic Power Steering which provide excellent off-road control.

Can-Am kept their reputation of spacious cockpits going strong with Maverick Sport. With its exceptional ergonomics and low-stance ERGOPRINT seats, it's hard to tell if your riding in a side-by-side or a luxury sedan.
